Winter frost has settled beautifully in our lounge…
More specifically a Bordeaux Wood flooring called ‘Winter Frost’ has settled Beautifully throughout the lounge and kitchen of a lovely house in Tring!
The owners wanted to knock through and join the lounge to the kitchen area and to unify the space put in a wooden flooring which would be hardwearing and aesthetically pleasing. They chose the ‘Winter Frost’ coloured wood flooring From the Bordeaux range because it complemented the solid grey and chrome Kitchen units and looked sleek and contemporary in the adjoining room too.
The only complication was that when the carpet in the lounge was taken up the, Criterion flooring team discovered the lounge and the kitchen were at slightly different heights.
There was a 22 mm difference which wouldn’t allow the floor to lay level unless the sub floor was lifted up. So Criterion carefully levelled the subfloor throughout the lounge before Laying the wood boarding dining room and kitchen complete with matching skirting boards.
The ‘Winter frost’ lay, flat, crisp and even redefining the space with the grey rustic textured wood, perfectly complementing the silk grey kitchen units and chrome handles and appliances.
It contrasted well with the exposed brickwork of the kitchen walls and made both the kitchen and
Lounge look sleek and spacious…
